Saturday's Scottish Premiership predictions including Rangers and Celtic in action

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Scottish Premiership action, including Rangers vs. Kilmarnock and Dundee United vs. Celtic.

Rangers vs. Kilmarnock (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Rangers play host to Kilmarnock on Saturday afternoon looking to extend their unbeaten record in the Scottish Premiership to five matches.

Despite an earlier draw with champions Celtic, the visitors to Ibrox head into the contest still searching for their first victory of the season.

We say: Rangers 3-0 Kilmarnock

While Kilmarnock will be looking to get back on track as soon as possible, everything points to this game being one-way traffic. Rangers will be desperate to bounce back from the disappointment of last weekend, and we expect Gerrard's side to canter to the three points.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

St Mirren vs. Ross County (Saturday, 3.00pm)

St Mirren and Ross County meet in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon with both clubs occupying a place in the top six of the table.

The home side find themselves in that position having played a game less, while County have benefitted from winning their opening two matches of the campaign.

We say: St Mirren 1-1 Ross County

With neither team being prolific this season, do not expect the goals to flow on Saturday afternoon. A closely-fought contest is likely to be played out at The Simple Digital Arena, one which could lead to a low-scoring draw.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Motherwell vs. Hamilton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Motherwell and Hamilton Academical square off on Saturday afternoon with both clubs still looking for their first victory in the Scottish Premiership this season.

While the home side have two draws to their name, Hamilton have netted just one goal during their three successive defeats.

We say: Motherwell 2-1 Hamilton Academical

Having shown improvement in recent games, Motherwell begin this contest as the clear favourites. While it may be tighter than many are predicting, we expect the home side to edge out their bottom-of-the-table opponents by the odd goal in three.

Our tipster partners are predicting that at least one team will not score (BTTS - no).

Dundee Utd vs. Celtic (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Celtic manager Neil Lennon pictured on July 21, 2020© Reuters

Celtic return to Scottish Premiership action against Dundee United looking to get back on track after seeing two fixtures postponed due to Boli Bolingoli's unsanctioned trip to Spain.

Meanwhile, their recently-promoted opponents head into the encounter with the champions having prevailed in two of their last three matches.

We say: Dundee United 0-2 Celtic

The European fixture in midweek proved to be the perfect exercise for Celtic to regain some match sharpness ahead of what has the potential to be a testing encounter. Despite Dundee United seemingly being on the right track, however, it would come as a surprise if the visitors do not prevail in comfortable fashion.

Our tipster partners are predicting that at least one team will not score (BTTS - no).
