Peru's Paolo Guerrero questions Carlos Zambrano's red card against Chile

Peru striker Paolo Guerrero questions the referee's decision to send off Carlos Zambrano in his side's defeat to Chile in the Copa America semi-final.

Peru striker Paolo Guerrero has claimed that Carlos Zambrano's sending-off against Chile in the Copa America semi-final changed the game.

Zambrano was given his marching orders 20 minutes into the clash following a high tackle, and Chile went on to win 2-1 thanks to an Eduardo Vargas double.

After the match, Guerrero told reporters: "I think Zambrano's expulsion was a bit tough. I don't want to complain about the refereeing but there were a lot of unexpected decisions. If it had been 11 against 11 it would have been a different story."

Hosts Chile will face either Argentina or Paraguay in the final.
