Nottingham Forest have bid rejected by Middlesbrough for Patrick Bamford?

Nottingham Forest reportedly have a £8m bid rejected by Middlesbrough for striker Patrick Bamford.

Nottingham Forest have reportedly had an £8m bid rejected for Middlesbrough forward Patrick Bamford.

The 24-year-old has scored 14 goals in 53 appearances for Boro since moving for £6m from Chelsea in January 2017, nine of which came in a seven-match spell in the second half of last season.

According to The Mirror, Forest have had a bid turned down by their Championship rivals for Bamford.

Reds boss Aitor Karanka has already splashed £13m of his transfer kitty on Benfica midfielder Joao Carvalho, while also securing the signatures of his teammate Diogo Goncalves and Hull City's Michael Dawson.

Bamford has previously had loan spells at the likes of Crystal Palace, Burnley and Norwich City.
