Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa has revealed that he wants to stay at Brighton & Hove Albion after completing his loan spell with the Seagulls.

Ulloa, who spent one season with Brighton before moving to the King Power Stadium, rejoined Chris Hughton's side in January on loan until the end of the season.

The Argentine forward has said, however, that he is wary of the competition for places at Leicester and is keen on staying on the south coast.

"When I play [with Brighton] I feel different," Ulloa told The Argus. "Wearing this shirt it's different for me. When I had all the options and this option it was easy to say I was coming here.

"I want to stay here for a long time now but we'll see what happens. Leicester was a very nice time for me, wonderful in my career, but now I have to look forward.

"They've got [Jamie] Vardy, [Kelechi] Iheanacho, [Shinji] Okazaki, [Islam] Slimani, [Ahmed] Musa, they have too many strikers. It's so difficult to play there. It was a long time since I've played 90 minutes, maybe six or seven months. I need to play, I need some minutes. My fitness needs to be better."

Ulloa scored his first goal for Brighton since returning on loan in the club's 3-1 FA Cup win over Coventry City last weekend.
