Saturday's Coupe de France predictions including Orleans vs. PSG

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for five of today's Coupe de France fixtures, including Orleans vs. PSG.

Nantes vs. Laval (Saturday, 4.30pm)

Laval face their biggest test yet in the Coupe de France as they journey to the Stade de la Beaujoire to take on Nantes for a place in the round of 16 on Saturday.

This will be their first meeting since squaring off in a pre-season fixture back in June 2023, when the Ligue 2 outfit cruised to a comfortable 3-0 victory in Besancon.

We say: Nantes 2-0 Laval

While Laval have blitzed through the Coupe de France so far, they should expect a sterner challenge from a more experienced Nantes side. While we expect the visitors to put up a fight, Nantes' home advantage gives them an edge here and we are backing them to come away with the desired result.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Trelissac vs. Brest (Saturday, 4.30pm)

Ligue 1 high-flyers Brest travel to fourth-tier Trelissac for a Coupe de France round of 32 tie on Saturday evening in the first meeting between the clubs in 21 years.

Despite the gulf in class between the sides now, these two clubs were in the same division back in 2002-03, and Trelissac took four points off Brest, despite eventually being relegated from the third tier.

We say: Trelissac 0-4 Brest

Brest have overcome most teams in Ligue 1 with relatively little fuss over the past two months, seeing them surge up the table, and their fourth-tier opponents should not provide too much of an obstacle for them to surpass.

Trelissac come into this game in fine form themselves, but should Brest field a strong team here, they have very little chance of causing an upset against France's most in-form side.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Rodez AF vs. Monaco (Saturday, 4.30pm)

Rodez AF face their biggest test yet in the Coupe de France when they play host to Monaco at the Stade Paul Lignon for a place in the round of 16 on Saturday.

This will be a second cup meeting between the two sides in consecutive seasons, with the Ligue 2 outfit claiming a penalty-shootout victory in the round of 64 back in January 2023.

We say: Rodez AF 0-2 Monaco

While Rodez have put together a fine run of form heading into this one, they are in for a tough 90 minutes against a star-studded and more experienced Monaco side. Given the gulf in quality and depth between the two sides, we are backing Hutter's men to come out victorious.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Bordeaux vs. Nice (Saturday, 4.30pm)

The fourth knockout round of the 2023-24 Coupe de France sees Bordeaux and Nice go head-to-head at Matmut Atlantique on Saturday afternoon.

Both teams needed penalties to see off their respective last-64 opponents and another close encounter could be on the cards this weekend.

We say: Bordeaux 1-2 Nice

With the plethora of attacking talent on display here, we fully expect both teams to get themselves on the scoresheet. We are also tipping Nice to emerge triumphant, albeit by only a narrow margin.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Orleans vs. PSG (Saturday, 7.45pm)

A place in the last 16 of Coupe de France is up for grabs at Stade de la Source on Saturday evening, when Orleans entertain the challenge of Paris Saint-Germain.

The hosts saw off the threat of Nimes in the round of 32, while their visitors ran out emphatic winners over Revel to set up this weekend's meeting.

We say: Orleans 0-4 Paris Saint-Germain

Paris Saint-Germain made light work of lower league opponents in the last round, and we can see the French giants cruising to yet another comfortable victory come the end of the 90 minutes here.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
