Scottish League Two roundup: Montrose consigned to relegation playoff after draw

Sports Mole rounds up all of Saturday's action in Scottish League Two as Montrose are consigned to the relegation playoff despite a draw with Queen's Park.

Montrose came from behind to rescue a point against Queen's Park but will finish bottom of the Scottish League Two table at the end of the season.

Paul Watson gave Montrose the lead in the 35th minute, but an Andrew Steeves own goal and a strike from Shaun Rooney gave Queen's Park the lead before Garry Wood struck in the 81st minute to give his side a 2-2 draw.

They will require a playoff victory against Highland League champions Brora Rangers or Lowland League champions Edinburgh City in order to maintain their SPFL status.

Albion Rovers increased their lead at the top of the table with a 2-0 victory over ninth-placed Berwick, with Chris Cadden and Mark McGuigan getting the goals.

Clyde grabbed a rare win over East Fife, with Scott McManus scoring the only goal of the game, and Arbroath were held to a 1-1 draw by Annan Athletic.

Elsewhere, Elgin City versus East Stirlingshire finished goalless.

Results in full: Albion Rovers 2-0 Berwick, Arbroath 1-1 Annan Athletic, Clyde 1-0 East Fife, Elgin City 0-0 East Stirlingshire, Montrose 2-2 Queen's Park
