Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer rumours, including Memphis Depay to West Ham United, Giovani Lo Celso to Villarreal and Emmanuel Dennis to Nottingham Forest

West Ham United have reportedly made an offer for Barcelona attacker Memphis Depay.

The 28-year-old has allegedly been made surplus to requirements at Camp Nou this summer, and he is widely expected to leave the Catalan giants before the end of the transfer window.

Juventus are believed to be at the head of the queue for the Netherlands international, but according to Football Insider, the Hammers are also in the running for his signature.

The report claims that David Moyes's side have placed a large contract offer on the table for the attacker, which would see him become the best-paid player at London Stadium.

Memphis, who previously played in the Premier League for Manchester United between 2015 and 2017, scored 13 times in all competitions for Barcelona last season.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur attacker Giovani Lo Celso is reportedly on the verge of re-joining Villarreal on loan for the 2022-23 campaign.

The 26-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with the La Liga club, representing them on 22 occasions in all competitions during a successful spell.

The Argentina international is not in Antonio Conte's plans for the current season, and there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future in recent weeks.

According to the Evening Standard, Lo Celso is preparing to undergo a medical with the Yellow Submarine ahead of returning to the club.

The South American still has another three years left to run on his contract at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Elsewhere, Nottingham Forest have reportedly agreed a £20m deal with Watford for the transfer of Emmanuel Dennis.

The 24-year-old was in strong form for the Hornets during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 10 goals and registering six assists in 33 Premier League appearances.

Dennis has been involved in the early stages of the 2022-23 Championship season, but he has now allegedly agreed to leave the club.

According to The Athletic, Forest have had a £20m offer for the attacker accepted, and he is now preparing to make the move to the newly-promoted club.

Dennis represented Club Brugge in Belgium before making the move to England with Watford.

Meanwhile, Manchester United youngster Ethan Laird is reportedly preparing to join Queens Park Rangers on loan for the 2022-23 campaign.

The defender, who was involved in his parent club's pre-season preparations, was widely expected to make the move to Watford, but a switch to the Hornets has broken down.

According to the Manchester Evening News, the 21-year-old is now set to join QPR on loan for the season.

The report claims that Preston North End were also in the race for the right-back, but he will be heading to London to continue his development.

Laird had two separate loan spells in the Championship last season, representing both Swansea City and Bournemouth.
