Fiorentina centre-back Nikola Milenkovic emerges as a summer transfer target for Manchester United, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Fiorentina centre-back Nikola Milenkovic.

The 22-year-old was strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford during Jose Mourinho's time as head coach, but it is understood that the Red Devils never made an official offer.

Milenkovic has been in impressive form for Fiorentina during the 2019-20 campaign, contributing three goals in 29 appearances in all competitions.

According to Corriere dello Sport, United have identified the Serbia international as a potential summer signing, having been impressed by his form this term.

The report, though, claims that Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Napoli are also interested in the centre-back, who has a contract with his Italian club until the summer of 2022.

Fiorentina are also allegedly determined to keep hold of the defender but could face a battle to retain his services as the list of interested clubs continues to grow.

Milenkovic has made 84 appearances for La Viola since arriving from Partizan Belgrade.
