Former Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian reveals that he has no regrets about moving to Old Trafford from Torino in 2015.

Matteo Darmian has revealed that he does not regret moving to Manchester United despite his lack of appearances in his last season at Old Trafford.

The 29-year-old signed for the Red Devils from Torino in 2015 and went on to make 92 appearances.

Having played just six times in the Premier League last season, it was queried at his Parma unveiling whether the Italian international regretted his move to Old Trafford, to which he responded: "Signing for Manchester United was easy.

"It's an experience I'd do all over again, on and off the field. I really wanted to play and the lure of returning to Italy pushed me to leave Manchester.

"A professional must always accept the coach's decisions. You have to work hard to be ready."

Darmian's final appearance for Manchester United came in April, when he was handed a surprise start in the 2-0 derby defeat against Manchester City.

The full-back's new side Parma have enjoyed a decent start in Serie A, winning two of their opening three matches. Darmian could make his debut next Sunday when they host Cagliari at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.
