Crystal Palace to beat Manchester United to Ismaila Sarr?

Crystal Palace prepare to launch a £30m offer for Watford attacker Ismaila Sarr, according to a report.

Crystal Palace are reportedly preparing a record-breaking offer for Watford attacker Ismaila Sarr.

The 22-year-old has been strongly linked with Manchester United in recent weeks and could, in theory, still leave Vicarage Road to join a Premier League club before the end of next week.

United are believed to have identified the Senegal international as an attacking target, having missed out on Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho and Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele during the international window.

However, according to The Sun, Palace are also firmly in the hunt for Sarr and are preparing to make an offer in the region of £30m in the hope of securing his signature.

Watford are said to be open to a sale before the end of the EFL transfer window, but a recent report claimed that they valued the winger at £45m.

Sarr scored five times and registered six assists in 28 Premier League appearances last term.
