Saturday's Premier League predictions including Chelsea vs. Manchester City

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Premier League fixtures, including Chelsea vs. Manchester City.

One of the standout matches on the Premier League calendar will take place at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon, as early league leaders Chelsea welcome the reigning champions Manchester City.

Chelsea top the table with 13 points to show from their opening five matches, while Man City occupy fifth, having collected 10 points from their first five league games of the 2021-22 campaign.

We say: Chelsea 1-1 Manchester City

It is still very early in the season, but there is simply no downplaying the importance of this match. Both managers will be desperate to put down a marker, but it is likely to be a tight and cagey affair at Stamford Bridge, and we have had to settle on a low-scoring draw, which both teams would probably take.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Man Utd vs. Aston Villa (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Manchester United will be looking to continue their impressive start to the 2021-22 Premier League season when they welcome Aston Villa to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils are currently third in the table, level on points with leaders Chelsea, while Villa occupy 10th position, having collected seven points from their opening five games of the campaign.

We say: Manchester United 3-1 Aston Villa

Villa's quality in attack means that they will fancy their chances of getting on the scoresheet at Old Trafford, but we cannot ignore the team's recent struggles against Man United in the Premier League. The Red Devils will be determined to bounce back from the disappointment of Wednesday's League Cup defeat to West Ham, and we are backing the home side to collect all three points here.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Everton vs. Norwich (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Both seeking to bounce back from EFL Cup exits in midweek, Everton welcome Norwich City to Goodison Park in Saturday afternoon's Premier League clash.

The two clubs also enter the contest on the back of top-flight losses, as Rafael Benitez's side went down 3-0 to Aston Villa while the Canaries also shipped three against Watford.

We say: Everton 2-0 Norwich City

Norwich supporters may be feeling quietly hopeful of a shock result at Goodison Park given their hosts' injury and confidence woes, and their recent results on the blue half of Merseyside have been encouraging.

However, Benitez's depleted side will view this encounter as a prime opportunity to get their European charge back on track, and we expect them to do just that this weekend.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Leeds vs. West Ham (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Leeds United's search for their first victory of the 2021-22 Premier League season will continue on Saturday afternoon when they welcome West Ham United to Elland Road.

The Whites are currently 17th in the table, having picked up just three points from their opening five matches, while West Ham have collected eight points from their five games to sit eighth in the division.

We say: Leeds United 1-2 West Ham United

This is an incredibly difficult match to call, as it is tough to know what to expect from Leeds at the moment. It would not be a surprise to see a draw at Elland Road, but we just have a feeling for a West Ham side that continue to impress under Moyes and have therefore backed a narrow away success.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Leicester vs. Burnley (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Two sides buoyed by EFL Cup wins in midweek will prepare for battle at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, as Leicester City and Burnley do battle in the Premier League.

Brendan Rodgers's side eased to a 2-0 win at Millwall on Wednesday evening, while a Jay Rodriguez-inspired Burnley saw off Rochdale 4-1.

We say: Leicester City 2-1 Burnley

Burnley frustrated Arsenal throughout the 90 minutes last week - although the Gunners arguably should have scored more on the day - while a red-hot Rodriguez could provide a new dimension to the visitors' attack.

Leicester have not dazzled and delighted in the early stages of the season and could struggle to impose themselves on the game once again, but we still have confidence in the hosts' ability to grind out a narrow win.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Watford vs. Newcastle (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Seeking to recover from their disappointing EFL Cup exit to lower-league opposition in midweek, Watford welcome Newcastle United to Vicarage Road in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Hornets were sent packing 3-1 by Stoke City in midweek action, whereas Steve Bruce's side have had over a week to recover from their 1-1 draw with Leeds United in the top flight.

We say: Watford 2-2 Newcastle United

Neither Watford nor Newcastle have become renowned for low-scoring affairs this term, and we expect that trend to continue in a battle between two sides who will certainly view this fixture as winnable.

Munoz's side can hardly take inspiration from their midweek showing with a second-string XI, and Newcastle have had a full week to recuperate following last week's draw, so we can see a goal-fest of an encounter ending with both sides shaking hands on a point.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Brentford vs. Liverpool (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Seeking to continue their strong start to life in the Premier League, Brentford prepare to play host to Liverpool in Saturday evening's showdown.

Both sides enter the contest having marched to convincing wins in their respective EFL Cup showdowns, with Thomas Frank's side putting seven past Oldham Athletic while the Reds eased to a 3-0 win over Norwich City.

We say: Brentford 0-2 Liverpool

Liverpool cannot expect to break down Brentford's staunch defence at will this weekend, and Klopp may have one eye on upcoming battles with Porto and Manchester City.

However, most of the visitors' big-hitters are well-rested and are simply flying away from home in the top flight, so we still expect Liverpool to record a straightforward win.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
