Juventus confirm Mario Mandzukic exit talks amid Manchester United links

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici confirms that Mario Mandzukic is welcome to seek a move to another club in the January transfer window.

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has confirmed that Mario Mandzukic is welcome to seek a move to another club in the January transfer window amid reports linking him with Manchester United.

The Croat, whose current deal expires in 2021, is not training with the Juventus squad and has not played a single minute of action under Maurizio Sarri this season.

Reports have stated that United and the Old Lady had reached an agreement in principle for the striker to move to Old Trafford in January.

Speaking on the subject of Mandzukic's future, Paratici told Sky Italia: "We are talking to Mandzukic to find the best possible solution.

"We remain open to any scenario, so staying here or going elsewhere. We are discussing it to find the best solution for both parties."

Mandzukic, who was subject to interest from the Red Devils over the summer, is thought to be valued at around £10m by Juventus.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has placed strong emphasis on securing a striker in the January window following the club's decision to dispense with and failure to replace attacking duo Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez over the summer.
