SM Football Shorts: Agent David Lee on Jadon Sancho, Gareth Bale and more

Watch the full interview as the Sports Mole Football Shorts team speak to agent David Lee about Gareth Bale, Jadon Sancho and the challenges of the job during coronavirus.

The 2020 summer transfer window has proven to be one of the busiest and spectacular in recent memory, despite the threat of the coronavirus pandemic hampering clubs' finances.

Premier League teams alone have already spent over £600m, and there is plenty more activity expected too; Jadon Sancho, Gareth Bale and Jack Grealish are among the big-name players whose futures still seem up in the air.

The latter two of those are represented by the world-renowned Stellar Group agency, whose chairman Jonathan Barnett was last year named by Forbes as the most powerful agent in sport.

David Lee - a former Tottenham Hotspur player whose career was cruelly cut short by injury - is among the Stellar ranks and works closely with the likes of Nick Pope and Lewis Dunk of Burnley and Brighton & Hove Albion respectively.

Sports Mole Editor Barney Corkhill and Football Editor Matt Law spoke exclusively to David, covering a wide variety of topics including the aforementioned players, some of the big deals yet to happen in this window, the England number one spot and the new challenges facing players and agents in a time of uncertainty worldwide.
