Manchester United handed Club Brugge tie in Champions League qualifying

Manchester United will face Belgian outfit Club Brugge in the playoff stage of the Champions League.

Manchester United have been drawn against Club Brugge in the playoff qualification stage of the Champions League.

The Red Devils avoided the likes of Lazio and Valencia, and instead face a trip to the Belgian city of Bruges later this month.

Elsewhere, Celtic will take on Malmo as they look to go one better than last season and make it into the group stage of the showpiece competition.

Lazio and Valencia appear to have been dealt difficult hands, meanwhile, with ties against fellow heavyweights Bayer Leverkusen and AS Monaco respectively.

The first legs will be played on August 18 and 19, while the return fixtures will take place on August 25 and 26.
