Real Madrid are keen to sign Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler next summer, according to a report.

Real Madrid are reportedly ready to rival the likes of Liverpool for the signature of Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler during next summer's transfer window.

The 24-year-old's existing deal at Mestalla is due to expire in June 2023, and a number of clubs, including Liverpool, have been credited with an interest in his services.

According to Defensa Central, there is also firm interest from Real Madrid, with Carlo Ancelotti's side keen to keep him in Spain amid Premier League interest.

Soler, who is capable of operating in a number of different midfield positions, has scored three times in three La Liga appearances for Los Che at the start of the 2021-22 campaign.

The Spaniard is a product of Valencia's youth system and has now made 188 appearances for the first team, contributing 26 goals and 26 assists in the process.

Real Madrid are said to value Soler as an ideal signing as they prepare for life after Luka Modric, who is seemingly entering the latter stages of his time at the Bernabeu.
