Neil Warnock: 'Crystal Palace were worthy winners over Liverpool'

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock says that his team was "rewarded for playing good football" during their 3-1 win over Liverpool in the Premier League.

Neil Warnock has insisted that his Crystal Palace side deserved their 3-1 victory over Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.

The visiting Merseysiders broke the deadlock early on through Rickie Lambert, but Palace hit back thanks to goals from Dwight Gayle, Joe Ledley and captain Mile Jedinak.

Asked by Sky Sports News for his summation of the game, Warnock claimed that his players had been "rewarded for playing good football".

"That was the best performance since I have come back to the club. I thought we got rewarded for playing good football. We looked really organised and difficult to breakdown," he said.

The victory was Palace's first in the Premier League since September 27 and saw them climb out of the relegation zone.
