Tuesday's Champions League predictions including PSG vs. Manchester City

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Tuesday's Champions League fixtures, including Paris Saint-Germain vs. Manchester City.

Ajax vs. Besiktas (Tuesday, 5.45pm)

After a rampant start to the group stage against Sporting Lisbon, Ajax will welcome Turkish outfit Besiktas to Amsterdam in the second round of Champions League fixtures.

The Dutch champions thrashed Os Leoes in the curtain-raiser, while their visitors fell to a defeat at the hands of group favourites Borussia Dortmund.

We say: Ajax 3-0 Besiktas

While their recent form sees Besiktas already arrive in Amsterdam as major underdogs, their extensive injury list only compounds their problems, and we see the Black Eagles being comfortably defeated.

Ajax have been in fine form this season, and should overrun a depleted Besiktas side on home turf, given their impressive attacking ranks.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Shakhtar vs. Inter Milan (Tuesday, 5.45pm)

Both Shakhtar Donetsk and Inter Milan will be looking to bounce back from opening-night Champions League defeats when they lock horns in Ukraine on Tuesday evening.

Shakhtar started their Group D campaign with a 2-0 defeat at Sheriff Tiraspol on September 15, while Inter suffered a 1-0 home loss to Spanish giants Real Madrid in their section opener.

We say: Shakhtar Donetsk 1-2 Inter Milan

PSG vs. Man City (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Manchester City's second game of a brutally challenging week takes place at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday night, as Paris Saint-Germain seek revenge in Champions League Group A.

The two sides renew hostilities after clashing in last season's semi-finals, where Pep Guardiola's men claimed a pair of victories to end the Parisiens' European dream for one more year.

We say: Paris Saint-Germain 1-2 Manchester City

PSG's perfect record in Ligue 1 does not exactly tell the full story given some of their under-par performances, while the potential loss of Messi and definite absence of Di Maria will certainly be felt in a clash of this magnitude.

Having had recent experience prevailing in battles with their French counterparts, Man City ought to feel confident about their chances of repeating the trick at the Parc des Princes, and we can see them doing just that by the narrowest of margins.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

RB Leipzig vs. Brugge (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Two sides still searching for their first win of the 2021-22 Champions League prepare for battle at the Red Bull Arena as RB Leipzig welcome Club Brugge on Tuesday in Group A.

The hosts were humbled 6-3 by Manchester City on matchday one, whereas their Belgian opponents managed to hold Paris Saint-Germain to a 1-1 draw on home soil.

We say: RB Leipzig 2-0 Club Brugge

Leipzig have their work cut out to breach a watertight Brugge defence six times, but such a crushing victory in the Bundesliga will have done wonders for the confidence in the hosts' camp.

Clement's side produced the goods against PSG in front of their own supporters and cannot be written off by any stretch, although we still expect Leipzig to keep their strong Champions League home run going with all three points on Tuesday.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Porto vs. Liverpool (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Liverpool will endeavour to make it two wins from two in the 2021-22 Champions League when they travel to the Estadio do Dragao for Tuesday evening's Group B clash with Porto.

Sergio Conceicao's side opened their continental campaign with a goalless draw against Atletico Madrid, while the Reds saw off AC Milan 3-2 in an Anfield thriller.

We say: Porto 1-2 Liverpool

Porto have already proven themselves as a tough nut to crack both domestically and continentally this term, while their home record in the group stages speaks for itself, but some enforced defensive changes could harm them this week.

Klopp cannot afford to take any games in Group B lightly and must also factor in the impending visit of Man City, but we think a rotated Reds side will still have enough firepower to come away with all three points in a tightly-fought affair.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

AC Milan vs. Atletico (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

AC Milan and Atletico Madrid will both go in search of their first wins of the 2021-22 Champions League during Tuesday's Group B battle at San Siro.

Stefano Pioli's side lost 3-2 to old rivals Liverpool in the opening matchweek, while Atletico failed to fire in a goalless draw with Porto.

We say: AC Milan 1-1 Atletico Madrid

Simeone must find a solution to Atletico's attacking woes soon lest they risk their La Liga title defence ending in tatters, but Liverpool have already proved that Milan's rearguard is far from impenetrable.

The Rossoneri will certainly have a hard time breaking down their visitors' own resilient backline, and we expect the two sides' search for a first European win of the season to continue following a hard-fought draw.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Dortmund vs. Sporting Lisbon (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland celebrates scoring their first goal with teammates on September 11, 2021© Reuters

German giants Borussia Dortmund will look to make it two wins from two Champions League group stage games on Tuesday, when they welcome Portuguese champions Sporting Lisbon to Signal Iduna Park.

Marco Rose's side kicked off their campaign with a victory over Besiktas in the opening round of fixtures, while the visitors will be keen to bounce back from a thrashing at the hands of Ajax.

We say: Borussia Dortmund 3-1 Sporting Lisbon

Der BVB certainly excel going forward, and, even without a number of important players, they boast enough quality to condemn the Portuguese champions to another defeat.

If Haaland is deemed fit, he will hope to continue his eye-catching form on the continental stage with another rampant performance, and we would not look past Rose's men securing another high-scoring victory, especially if the Norwegian star leads the line.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Real Madrid vs. Sheriff Tiraspol (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Real Madrid will be looking to make it back-to-back wins in Group D when they continue their 2021-22 Champions League campaign at home to Sheriff Tiraspol on Tuesday night.

Los Blancos recorded a 1-0 victory over Inter Milan in their section opener earlier this month, while Sheriff recorded an impressive 2-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk, with the visitors currently top of the group.

We say: Real Madrid 2-0 Sheriff Tiraspol

Sheriff are more than capable of making this an uncomfortable evening for Real Madrid, with the Moldovan outfit impressing in their two-goal success over Shakhtar. That said, we are finding it difficult to predict anything other than Los Blancos win taking everything into consideration.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.
