Ipswich Town hit with several injuries ahead of Wolverhampton Wanderers visit

Mick McCarthy reveals that Ipswich Town will be without several key players for the visit of Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Championship on Tuesday night.

Ipswich Town will be without several key players for the visit of Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Championship tomorrow night.

First-choice goalkeeper Dean Gerken injured himself in the warm-up at Blackpool on Saturday and will again be missing between the sticks, while further forward Jonathan Parr, Jonathan Williams, Ted Bishop and Cole Skuse won't be available for selection.

"We've got a few missing for tomorrow, with a couple picking up knocks against Blackpool," Tractor Boys boss Mick McCarthy told the club website.

"Bish ripped it up at Blackpool for 60 minutes but then got a tight groin, Gerks did his groin in the warm up and Skusey's was quite evident when he got injured that it could keep him out.

"Jonny Parr has got a groin injury too, Jonny Williams has a calf problem so there's a few but that's just the workload we've been putting in while playing Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday."

Ipswich have lost one game in their last 11 and go into the match against Wolves just three points shy of second place.
