Antonio Conte to beat Jose Mourinho to Inter Milan job?

A report claims that three-time Serie A title-winning manager Antonio Conte is set to beat Jose Mourinho to the Inter Milan job.

Inter Milan reportedly favour Antonio Conte over fellow former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho as they step up their search for a new manager.

The Nerazzurri are believed to be on the lookout for a replacement to Luciano Spalletti, who is expected to make way at the end of the campaign.

Mourinho was considered the leading candidate to take over from Spalletti at San Siro, having enjoyed much success during his previous stint in charge between 2008 and 2010, but Corriere dello Sport claims that he now looks set to miss out.

Conte, brought in as Mourinho's successor at Chelsea, may instead be employed by Inter thanks to his own success in Italian football.

The 49-year-old won three successive Serie A titles during his time with Inter, before taking charge of the Italy national side and then managing Chelsea.
