Everton reportedly dismiss reports that they hold an interest in signing former Arsenal and Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri.

Everton have reportedly indicated that they have no interest in signing free agent Samir Nasri.

The Frenchman is currently serving a drugs ban, but the playmaker is allowed to start training with potential new clubs next month.

Reports had suggested that Everton were keen on bringing in the 31-year-old but according to the Liverpool Echo, the Toffees have dismissed suggestions that they are in the running for the midfielder.

Nasri has previously enjoyed a number of successful years with both Arsenal and Manchester City in the Premier League, but he last featured for Antalyaspor in Turkey.

Clubs from all around Europe are likely to show an interest in Nasri ahead of the January transfer window.
