Honours even at Dens Park

Goals from Rory Loy and Conrad Balatoni ensure that Dundee and Kilmarnock play out a 1-1 draw at Dens Park.

Dundee failed to make the most of their chances as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Kilmarnock tonight.

The hosts dominated the first half at Dens Park, but they only had the one goal to show for their efforts.

It came in the 18th minute when Nick Ross floated over a cross, which Rory Loy subsequently glanced into the far corner of the net.

As the half wore on, Dundee continued to carve out the openings, but the likes of Loy and Kane Hemmings were wasteful in front of goal.

They were then punished for those misses 10 minutes after the restart when Conrad Balatoni nodded in to ensure that the spoils would be shared.
