The agent of defender Emerson Palmieri says that the full-back will not be leaving Chelsea during the January transfer window.

Agent Fernando Garcia has ruled out the possibility of Emerson Palmieri leaving Chelsea during the January transfer window.

Having found himself in and out of the team since the appointment of Frank Lampard, Palmieri has been linked with a return to Serie A.

However, despite alleged interest from Juventus and Inter Milan, Garcia has insisted that there are no plans for the 25-year-old to begin a second spell in Italy's top flight.

Speaking to FC Inter News, Garcia said: "Chelsea have no intention of depriving themselves of Emerson Palmieri right now. He's happy in London and so now he won't change clubs."

Palmieri has made a total of 16 appearances in all competitions this season, including 12 starts in the Premier League.

The former Roma man still has two-and-a-half years left on his contract.
