Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud has hinted that he may be prepared to consider a transfer to AC Milan later in the summer window.
Last week, it was revealed that Giroud's contract had been extended by Chelsea for an extra 12 months, seemingly ending speculation regarding a switch to San Siro.
However, speaking while on international duty in France, the 34-year-old has suggested that he will only think about any further developments on the club scene once he has represented his country at Euro 2020.
Speaking to reporters, Giroud said: "I want to make it clear that Chelsea reactivated the clause in April and they recently announced it to comply with Premier League rules.
"It's fair to remember that I liked Marco van Basten and Andriy Shevchenko. Milan are a big club and one of the great teams in Europe. But, today, I will not talk about my future at the club because I am focused on the France team and the Euros, which is fast approaching."
Giroud barely featured during the closing weeks of the season, playing just 71 minutes from the start of April.
