Chelsea manager Antonio Conte questions the treatment he has received from the media amid rumours that his job is under threat.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has questioned his treatment at the hands of the media amid reports that his job is under threat.

The Premier League champions fell to a 3-0 home defeat to Bournemouth on Wednesday night, leaving them fourth in the table and only two points above fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.

Chelsea have reportedly begun to consider possible replacements for Conte due to the team's form this season, but the Italian reiterated that there is no truth in the rumours from his end.

"I don't understand why other coaches are not under pressure after a defeat in the way that you (the media) are doing with me," Conte told reporters.

"But I repeat, this is not problem because I don't read [newspapers], I don't go online. As you know very well, I don't have a relationship here with a journalist. I want to see if there is one to tell the opposite (that he is not about to leave).

"Now my ambition is to have another season in England and to respect my contract. This is my decision. Then we will see what happens and anything can happen."

Conte has been linked with a return to the Italian national side in recent days.
