Ashley Cole, Joe Cole back at Chelsea

Ashley Cole and Joe Cole return to Chelsea's training ground in a bid to keep fit after the end of the season in the United States.

Ashley Cole and Joe Cole have both returned to Chelsea's training ground in a bid to keep fit after the end of the season in the United States.

Ashley Cole currently represents Los Angeles Galaxy in the MLS, while Joe Cole turns out for the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the second tier of American soccer, and the pair are expected to continue at their respective North American clubs next season.

However, in a bid to keep their fitness in the off-season, the duo have once again linked up with the likes of John Terry and John Obi Mikel after being invited to train by Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.

Free agent Michael Essien is also believed to be training with the club's development squad after leaving Greek side Panathinaikos at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.

Frank Lampard's future is still up in the air, meanwhile, with the Chelsea legend still considering his future after announcing his departure from New York City FC last month.
