Former Chelsea boss Avram Grant believes that the second leg of the Champions League semi-final in the Nou Camp will be "more difficult for Barcelona than Chelsea".

Avram Grant believes that his former club, Chelsea, are favourites to reach the Champions League final following their 1-0 first-leg win over Barcelona on Wednesday night.

The Israeli was in charge of the Stamford Bridge side in 2008, as they reached the European Cup final for the only time in their 107-year history.

The Blues were beaten on penalties by Manchester United on that occasion, but Grant thinks that they are likely to have the chance to rectify that loss in this year's final.

"I can tell you from experience that 1-0 at home is the best result that you can get because Chelsea in any case can get an away goal in Barcelona," the former Chelsea boss told talkSPORT.

"Chelsea have quick players on the attack and Barcelona are not so great against counter attacks. Secondly, Barcelona are not so great against set pieces and Chelsea have good players for this and good delivery.

"It will be more difficult for Barcelona than Chelsea, because Chelsea can score an away goal and then Barcelona need to score three. And that is not so easy."

Grant is now in charge at Partizan Belgrade, where he recently awarded a trial to Grays Athletic midfielder Harry Agombar.
