Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Celtic in doubt after downpour

Celtic's Scottish Premiership match against Inverness Caledonian Thistle will be subject to a pitch inspection after heavy rain in Inverness.

Celtic's Scottish Premiership match against Inverness Caledonian Thistle could be postponed due to heavy rain.

Wet weather has affected Scottish sport this weekend, with three Scottish Cup matches postponed due to waterlogged pitches.

"Due to the heavier than expected rain and the forecast of more rain, there will be a precautionary pitch inspection at 07:30am tomorrow," an Inverness tweet said.

The Bhoys could move seven points clear of second-placed Aberdeen if the match goes ahead tomorrow.
