Video: Football League Goal of the Year nominees

Watch the five goals that have been shortlisted for the Mitre Goal of the Year at the Football League Awards.

The Football League has revealed the five goals in the running to win this season's Mitre Goal of the Year.

The nominees were decided by Sky Sports viewers and revealed earlier today on Soccer AM.

1. Yann Kermorgant (Bournemouth) vs. Ipswich Town

The French striker produced a spectacular scissor-kick at the Goldsands Stadium in the Championship.

2. Rohan Ince (Brighton & Hove Albion) vs. Swindon Town

The Seagulls midfielder delivered a truly unstoppable first time volley in the Capital One Cup.

3. Craig Westcarr (Portsmouth) vs. Yeovil Town

A sublime first touch and cheeky finish from the Pompey striker in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

4. Joe Garner (Preston North End) vs. Rotherham United

The Lilywhites might have gone on to lose in this playoff semi-final against Rotherham United last season, but Garner scored surely the best goal of the post-season with this dipping volley.

5. Andy Mangan (Shrewsbury Town) vs. Dagenham & Redbridge

Skip to 37s in the video below to see Mangan loop an arcing volley into the net.

Past winners of the award include Franck Moussa, Simon Cox and Peter Whittingham.

The winner will be chosen following a vote by guests at the end-of-season awards ceremony in London on April 19.
