Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar is reportedly willing to take a 50% pay cut in order to secure a reunion with Barcelona later in 2020.

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar is reportedly prepared to significantly reduce his income in order to return to Barcelona.

Ever since leaving Camp Nou for the Parc des Princes in 2017, Neymar has been continually tipped to spend a second period with the Catalan giants.

Despite the financial implications of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, it has been claimed that Barcelona are keen on agreeing a deal for the Brazil international during the next transfer window.

Aware that the La Liga leaders cannot afford his current wages, reports in Spain say that the 28-year-old is willing to take a 50% pay cut to help advance negotiations.

Although Neymar has just two years remaining on his existing deal, it is unclear whether PSG are open to selling the attacker ahead of next season.

Much could depend on any proposal made by Barca, which is likely to include at least one player in part-exchange.
