Barcelona want to hand Gavi, Ansu Fati, Pedri, Ronald Araujo and Ousmane Dembele new contracts at Camp Nou, according to a report.

Barcelona are reportedly working to hand Gavi, Ansu Fati, Pedri, Ronald Araujo and Ousmane Dembele new contracts at Camp Nou.

The Catalan giants have spoken openly about their discussions with Gavi, Fati, Pedri and Dembele, with all four players seen as a key part of the club's plans moving forward.

However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona are also in talks with central defender Araujo over a renewal.

The 22-year-old has been a key player for Ronald Koeman's side during the 2021-22 campaign, making nine appearances in all competitions, contributing one goal in the process.

Araujo's existing deal at Camp Nou is due to expire in June 2023, and Barcelona are said to be determined to sign the Uruguay international to a longer agreement.

The defender has made 48 appearances for his current club since arriving from Boston River in 2018, initially turning out for Barcelona B before progressing to the first team.
