Al-Sadd manager Xavi affirms that he would consider "any" management offer amid links with a return to Barcelona as Ronald Koeman's successor.

Former Barcelona midfielder Xavi has affirmed that he would listen to an offer from La Blaugrana if the manager's job came calling.

The 41-year-old - who is currently in control of the reins at Qatari side Al-Sadd - has been linked with a return to Camp Nou while Ronald Koeman's job is hanging by a thread.

Koeman has retained the faith of Joan Laporta for the time being, but Xavi has insisted that he would consider an approach from the Catalan giants if they came knocking for his services.

Speaking to TVE, the World Cup winner said: "Any offer will be evaluated and then a decision will be made. I don't know where my future will take me, but I'm open to anything."

Despite suffering a 2-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid before the international break, Koeman could supposedly save his job with a positive result in El Clasico on October 24.

Xavi previously scored 85 goals and set up 185 more in 767 appearances for Barcelona, winning eight La Liga titles and four Champions Leagues during his 17-year first-team Barcelona career.
