Atletico Madrid skipper Gabi reveals offer

Atletico Madrid captain Gabi reveals that he has received an offer to leave his current club, but will remain at the Vicente Calderon as long as he is valued.

Atletico Madrid captain Gabi has revealed that he has received an offer to leave the Vicente Calderon, but he will remain in Madrid "as long as Atleti" want him.

It is understood that the experienced midfielder is a target for a number of Chinese Super League clubs, who have splashed the cash in recent weeks.

The Spaniard has responded to rumours linking him with a move to Asia by admitting that an offer has been made, but the 32-year-old wants to sign a fresh deal with his current club.

"I've received an offer, but as long as Atleti want me, I'll stay," Gabi told Marca.

The 32-year-old came through the youth system at Atletico, but has also represented Getafe and Real Zaragoza, before returning for his second spell at the Calderon in 2011.
