Paris Saint-Germain join Arsenal and Real Madrid in the race to sign Brighton & Hove Albion centre-back Ben White, according to a report.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly joined Arsenal and Real Madrid in the race to sign Brighton & Hove Albion centre-back Ben White during this summer's transfer window.

The 23-year-old excelled for Brighton during the 2020-21 campaign and received a call-up to the England squad for Euro 2020 following Trent Alexander-Arnold's injury.

Arsenal are thought to be desperate to sign the defender this summer, with the Gunners said to be preparing to table a £45m offer, having seen their initial £40m bid turned down by the Seagulls.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, have also recently been credited with an interest, as Los Blancos prepare to replace Sergio Ramos, who is leaving the Bernabeu on a free transfer.

However, according to The Mirror, there is also genuine interest from PSG, with the French club's head coach Mauricio Pochettino an admirer of the Englishman.

The report claims that Pochettino kept an eye on White's performances on loan at Leeds United, and the Ligue 1 outfit could now beat Arsenal to his signature.

Brighton are believed to value the centre-back, who has a contract at the Amex until the summer of 2024, in the region of £50m.
