Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has refused to rule out the prospect of winger Serge Gnabry leaving the club this summer.

The 26-year-old enjoyed a prolific 2021-22 campaign with the German giants, scoring 17 goals and registering 10 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.

However, Gnabry's long-term future at the club has recently been questioned following the arrival of Sadio Mane from Liverpool earlier this week.

The Germany international has just a year remaining on his contract at the Allianz Arena, and although Salihamidzic is keen for the winger to stay, he has suggested that a transfer cannot be ruled out if the player decides to seek pastures new.

Speaking to Sky Deutschland, via journalist Fabrizio Romano, Salihamidzic said: "We really want to keep him. I hope that he chooses Bayern.

"If a player doesn't want to decide for the club, then we can find a solution that makes everyone happy."

Gnabry, who has spent the last five years with Bayern, has previously been linked with a return to Arsenal, while Liverpool and Real Madrid have also been credited with an interest.
