Arsenal forward Joel Campbell to join Frosinone?

Forward Joel Campbell is reportedly close to leaving Arsenal in order to sign for Italian side Frosinone on a permanent deal.

Frosinone have reportedly moved to the brink of securing the signing of Arsenal forward Joel Campbell.

The Costa Rica international has been contracted to the Gunners since 2011, but the attacker has made just 40 appearances in all competitions.

Campbell has spent as many as six loan spells away from the Emirates Stadium, but according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the 26-year-old's period with the North London outfit could be coming to an end.

Frosinone have just earned promotion to Serie A, and the minnows are said to be keen on pushing through a permanent deal before the end of the month.

Campbell has less than a year remaining on his contract and does not feature in the plans of new boss Unai Emery.
