Alexandre Lacazette voices his desire to remain at Arsenal amid speculation linking him with a move elsewhere.

Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette is determined to stay at the Emirates Stadium amid speculation regarding his long-term future.

The former Lyon man often found himself jostling with Eddie Nketiah to spearhead the Arsenal attack during the latter stages of last season and has been linked with a move away from the Gunners recently.

Lacazette could reportedly be offloaded as the Gunners look to raise funds for Houssem Aouar or Thomas Partey, but the Frenchman has reiterated his desire to remain at Arsenal and win more silverware with the FA Cup holders.

Responding to reports that he could be sold to Atletico Madrid as part of a swap deal for Partey, Lacazette told L'Equipe: "If this is true, no, it does not please me.

"But what matters is the choice of the coach, his confidence. He's the one who makes the team, not the managers upstairs in the offices, and I know I have his confidence.

"I am at Arsenal, I signed a 5-year contract to progress & win titles. I have another 2 years. I am determined to stay."

Lacazette has amassed 48 goals in 127 outings for Arsenal since his arrival in 2017.
