Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette confirms that he is already in talks with other clubs as he prepares to leave the Emirates on a free transfer in July.

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has confirmed that he is already in talks with other clubs over a move elsewhere this summer.

The 30-year-old will become a free agent at the end of the season and is widely expected to end his stint in North London after a five-year spell with the Gunners.

Lyon are thought to be keen to bring their former striker back to his native France, and Lacazette has refused to close the door on a potential return to the Groupama Stadium.

"I am in discussions with a lot of clubs," Lacazette told Canal Plus. "I am open... I have never cut contact with Lyon since I left. I try to return to the club once or twice a year to see the medical staff because we are really close. Lyon knows that I am free, they have come to the information.

"I want to play in Europe, it's been a long time since I played in the Champions League, I'm missing it. It's a little more complicated, nothing is impossible in life, but it's a little more complicated."

Lacazette has only found the back of the net four times in 25 Premier League appearances for Arsenal this season and is without a goal in open play in the top flight since December.

The Frenchman missed the recent defeat to Southampton after testing positive for COVID-19 and remains doubtful for Wednesday's London derby with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
