Wednesday's Premier League predictions including Arsenal vs. Liverpool

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Wednesday's Premier League matches, including Arsenal vs. Liverpool.

Burnley vs. Wolves (Wednesday, 6.00pm)

Wolverhampton Wanderers make the trip to Turf Moor to face Burnley looking for another three points which would strengthen their hold of sixth position in the Premier League standings.

However, Burnley play host to the West Midlands outfit knowing that victory would move the club to within two points of their next opponents with two matches remaining.

We say: Burnley 2-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Despite Wolves' return to form at the weekend, we are backing Burnley to emerge victorious in this contest. Dyche's side are well equipped to handle Wolves' attacking threat, as well as providing a threat at the other end of the pitch.

Man City vs. Bournemouth (Wednesday, 6.00pm)

Manchester City are in action for the first time since having their European ban overturned as they take on strugglers Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The Citizens have been cleared to compete in the Champions League next term and have already sealed a top-four finish in the Premier League, while Bournemouth are scrapping for their lives at the other end of the table.

We say: Manchester City 4-0 Bournemouth

Bournemouth have taken four points from their last two matches and still have hope of avoiding the drop. City have scored 10 unanswered goals in their last two games, however, and they have an incredible record against the Cherries in the Premier League, so we can only see this game ending one way.

Newcastle vs. Spurs (Wednesday, 6.00pm)

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to build on their victory over Arsenal when they head to Newcastle United on Wednesday evening.

Spurs beat North London rivals Arsenal 2-1 at the weekend to keep their European hopes alive, while Newcastle were beaten 2-1 by Watford as their season continues to peter out.

We say: Newcastle United 2-2 Tottenham Hotspur

Newcastle have lost back-to-back matches but have been tough to beat on home soil this season. Tottenham have struggled for consistency pretty much all campaign, meanwhile, and we can see them following up their derby victory with a stalemate in the North-East.

Arsenal vs. Liverpool (Wednesday, 8.15pm)

Champions Liverpool continue their quest for more Premier League history when they take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night.

Jurgen Klopp's side suffered a setback in their pursuit of top-flight immortality at the weekend, while the Gunners will be looking to bounce back from their North London derby defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.

We say: Arsenal 2-3 Liverpool

The one thing seemingly guaranteed when these two sides face each other is goals - everything else is very up in the air heading into this one. Liverpool are stuttering in comparison to their form over the rest of the campaign, but know that only a win will do if they have a chance to surpassing Man City's record points tally.

Arsenal, meanwhile, have been on a good run at home and know that they can ill-afford to drop any more points if they are to qualify for the Europa League via their league position next season.

Both sides are likely to be gunning for victory, then, and that should play into the hands of Liverpool more than Arsenal. The visiting front three look ideally suited to take advantage of Arsenal's defensive issues, and we can see that being the difference between the two sides in an entertaining game.
