Arsenal reportedly record at least one more COVID-19 case after Sunday's North London derby with Tottenham Hotspur was postponed.

Arsenal have reportedly recorded at least one more positive COVID-19 test following the postponement of Sunday's North London derby with Tottenham Hotspur.

The Gunners' request to postpone the Premier League fixture was granted on Saturday, with Mikel Arteta currently working with fewer than 13 eligible outfielders due to a combination of injuries, coronavirus, suspension and the Africa Cup of Nations.

Martin Odegaard was initially the only coronavirus case in that double-figure absentee list, sparking controversy over the postponement and the rules for such scenarios.

Now, the Evening Standard reports that Arsenal are now dealing with 'at least' one more suspected COVID-19 case, with the player in question not named.

However, the report adds that the new case did not factor into the Premier League's decision to postpone the fixture, which left Tottenham "extremely surprised".

As well as the two positive cases and the suspended Granit Xhaka, Arsenal are also without Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Nicolas Pepe, Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny due to AFCON.

Cedric Soares, Kieran Tierney, Bukayo Saka and Calum Chambers all emerged as injury concerns following the midweek draw with Liverpool, joining Sead Kolasinac, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Emile Smith Rowe in the treatment room.
