BBC Three to air RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under in UK
BBC Three will air the new spinoff RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under, it has been announced.

BBC Three has been confirmed as the UK broadcaster for the new spinoff RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under.

The show will crown the first ever Drag Race superstar from down under, with 12 queens from Australia and New Zealand competing to impress RuPaul, Michelle Visage and Aussie comedian Rhys Nicholson.

In Australia the series will be released weekly on streaming service Stan, in New Zealand it will air on TV NZ and in the UK, new episodes will be made available on BBC Three - also home to RuPaul's Drag Race UK and Canada's Drag Race.

BBC Three controller Fiona Campbell said: "Following an incredible series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK, BBC Three is delighted to be bringing another dose of Drag Race magic to UK audiences in the form of Drag Race Down Under.

"It's another great opportunity for us to work with World Of Wonder and I hope that fans enjoy this first series from Australia and New Zealand."

New episodes will be released Sundays at 9am on BBC Three - around 26 hours after they premiere in Australia - starting from May 2.
