Shania Twain replaces Sheridan Smith on ITV's Starstruck
Shania Twain is announced as a new judge for the next series of ITV's singing competition Starstruck.

Shania Twain has joined the judging panel for the upcoming second series of ITV singing competition Starstruck.

The show, which launched earlier this year to impressive ratings, sees contestants impersonating their music idols in a live studio performance.

Country music star Twain joins Adam Lambert, Beverley Knight and Jason Manford on the judging panel as a replacement for Sheridan Smith, who is unable to return due to other work commitments.

Exec producer Cat Lawson said: "We are over the moon to welcome music legend Shania Twain to our fantastic Starstruck panel.

"She is an absolute trailblazer who has collaborated with everyone from Elton John to Harry Styles. Shania will bring so much fun to our Saturday nights, we simply cannot wait."

The new series is being filmed later this month for broadcast on ITV in early 2023.
