Sarah Jane, London's Burning, Primeval to join BritBox

Doctor Who spinoff The Sarah Jane Adventures is among the new shows joining BritBox in August.

Doctor Who spinoff The Sarah Jane Adventures is to be added to BritBox next month, it has been confirmed.

The streaming service is already the exclusive home of the classic Who series and now all five series of the kids spinoff, starring the late Elisabeth Sladen, will become available on August 19.

A number of other cult shows will be added on the same day, including all five series of Being Human, the first two series of Primeval and Gerry Anderson sci-fi puppet series Terrahawks.

Also arriving on the platform next month is the classic fire service drama London's Burning, with the first two series - first broadcast in 1988 and 1989 - available from August 26.

Other additions include Murder In Successville, the first two series of Upstart Crow, This Is England '86, The Elephant Man and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
