Netflix orders a new season of the classic reality TV show The Mole for broadcast later this year.

Netflix has ordered a new season of the classic reality TV show The Mole.

In the show, which aired in the early noughties on both sides of the pond, a group of contestants partake in a series of challenges in order to build up a large cash prize.

One of the group is a secret saboteur, however, and the contestants must try to figure out who it is in order to avoid being eliminated and move closer to taking home the winnings.

The viewers also remain in the dark about the identity of The Mole until the final episode, although clues about who it is are hidden throughout all aspects of the show - including the host's narration, the on-screen graphics and other subtle visual cues.

Netflix's new 10-part season is thought to have already completed filming and will be released later this year.
