Graham Norton is to host a new "street-sized reality game" called The Neighbourhood for ITV.

Graham Norton is to host a new "street-sized" reality show called The Neighbourhood for ITV, in which households and families will compete for a cash prize.

The original format will see a diverse range of households move in next door to each other, sleeping and eating in each other's houses, socialising between them - and then voting each other out.

Producers Richard Cowles and John Hay explained: "In a TV landscape full of successful formats set in jungles, islands and luxurious villas, The Neighbourhood offers a fresh and different flavour: it's a show all about the drama on our doorsteps.

"This is a world we know and love from soaps and sitcoms, so we're excited to make it the setting for a new type of competition reality show and there's no better person to bring it to life than Graham."

Norton added: "Like everyone, I'm always intrigued by what goes on behind closed doors. Add to that some dastardly challenges and a life changing prize and I'm hooked."

The 12-part series is slated to air on ITV1 and ITVX in 2026, with filming expected to take place this June.
