Helen Skelton is announced for Strictly Come Dancing, completing the lineup for the class of 2022.

TV presenter Helen Skelton has been confirmed as the 15th and final celebrity in the lineup for this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

The 39-year-old is known for presenting Blue Peter and Newsround, as well as Countryfile and major sporting events for the BBC, BT Sport and Channel 4.

Skelton joins a celebrity cast that also includes the likes of Paralympian Ellie Simmonds, actress Kym Marsh, Bros singer Matt Goss, EastEnders star James Bye and singer Fleur East.

"I'm really excited to get stuck into a fun adventure," she said. "My family and friends have always loved the show and can't wait for me to get started."

The new series begins next month on BBC One.
