Bruno Tonioli could reportedly prioritise Dancing With The Stars over Strictly Come Dancing this autumn.

Bruno Tonioli could reportedly quit as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing in favour of US version Dancing With The Stars.

The BBC is still going ahead with the annual celeb dance contest in spite of the coronavirus pandemic, albeit with enhanced health and safety measures to make the production as safe as possible.

Tonioli, 64, has been part of Strictly since the very start and has also judged all 28 seasons of Dancing With The Stars, flying back and forth between the UK and US each week during the autumn months.

"The primary concern is that regular flights would put Bruno at risk of catching the virus," a source told the Daily Star. "And on a logistical level he may need to quarantine every time he arrives back in Britain, which obviously isn't viable if he needs to be back in the US just a few days later."

If Tonioli did pick the US show over the UK, his absence would likely be limited to just the 2020 series.
