Watch Dolly Parton rework the lyrics to her classic hit 'Jolene' as she receives the coronavirus vaccine she helped to fund.

Country music legend Dolly Parton has received her first shot of the coronavirus vaccine in the US.

The 75-year-old actually helped to fund the Moderna vaccine and was filmed being jabbed in a video she uploaded to her Instagram account with the caption: "Dolly gets a dose of her own medicine."

In the video, she tells her followers: "I'm finally gonna get my vaccine. I'm so excited. I'm old enough to get it, I'm smart enough to get it, so I'm very happy."

Parton then went on to reveal a reworked version of her classic hit 'Jolene' to "fit the occasion".
