Billie Eilish 'obtains restraining order against obsessed fan'

Billie Eilish is granted a restraining order against an obsessed fan who has been camped outside her home making threats.

Billie Eilish has reportedly been granted a restraining order against an obsessed fan who has been stalking her for six months.

According to E! News, in court documents Eilish says that the 23-year-old man has been parked outside of a school near her home in Los Angeles and regularly makes threats to her - including throat-slitting gestures - as she enters and exits her property.

The 19-year-old popstar wrote: "Every time I drive home I am filled with anxiety fearing that [he] will be there waiting for me, and he usually is. After I pull into the driveway and get out of the car, I can hear [him] talking to himself in an ominous voice, which increases my anxiety level even more.

"Whenever [he] sees me he always says something to me or makes a sign or a gesture directed to me... For example, he recently made a throat slitting gesture to me as I was backing my car into my driveway. I interpreted this as [him] wanting to violently harm me in some way."

Eilish also provided evidence of "extremely disturbing and threatening" letters sent to her, including one which said: "You can't get what you want, unless what you want is to die for me ... You will know that soon the water will rise, and you might very well die ... You will die."

A judge granted the order, which requires the man to be at least 200 yards away from Eilish and her parents at all times, late on Thursday.
