Drag Race's Chi Chi DeVayne hospitalised with suspected kidney failure

RuPaul's Drag Race favourite Chi Chi DeVayne is in hospital with suspected kidney failure.

RuPaul's Drag Race favourite Chi Chi DeVayne has revealed that she has been taken to hospital with suspected kidney failure.

Chi Chi made the announcement in a video from her hospital bed, explaining that she had tested negative for coronavirus and had been undergoing dialysis.

"I have high blood pressure and they've said that I'm going through kidney failure," she said.

"So tomorrow they're going to give me a biopsy on my kidneys and let me know what it is that's making my blood pressure so high, so I just want to say that I love you guys.

"I let it go too long without going to the doctor and these are the consequences. Take care of your body."

Chi Chi competed in the eighth season of Drag Race as well as the third season of Drag Race All Stars.
