Ruth Davidson has been named host of a new Friday afternoon show on Times Radio.
The 43-year-old served as the leader of the Scottish Conservatives for a decade but stepped down as an MSP last year and took up a role in the House of Lords.
Davidson has dipped her toes in broadcasting over the last year, hosting an interview series for LBC and a Channel 4 documentary on sports gambling, and now she has joined Times Radio as the full-time host of the 1pm-4pm slot on Fridays.
"Times Radio is only 18 months old but has already established itself as a must-listen destination for politicians and voters of every hue," she said.
"Its mantra of conversation not confrontation is an incredibly important one in our polarised times.
"I'm very excited about combining my two great loves, politics and live broadcasting, for a new show which will take a deep look at the big political issues of the week, as well as anticipating what the weekend has in store."
Davidson's first show will air on February 18.
